WORSHIP SERVICE

Worship at Emmanuel strives to preserve the elements and setting of a traditional worship service while responding to
 the spiritual needs of today.

(unless specified otherwise)

On the last Sunday in August an outdoor service is held at Gitt Memorial Library, Hanover.  Breakfast precedes the service.

We also have special services as appropriate for the religious seasons--Lent, Easter, Advent, and Christmas--as well as the rites of Baptism and Confirmation and Weddings for Members and Non-Members.  Some services--Good Friday, Baccalaureate, and Thanksgiving Eve--are held jointly with other churches within the Hanover Area Council of Churches.
