The purpose of Emmanuel United Church of Christ is to:

  Encourage growth in the Christian faith;

  Understand the meaning of Christian discipleship;

  Commit ourselves to serving humanity

The mission of Emmanuel United Church of Christ is to be:

  A caring family sharing the love of Jesus in joyful and painful times;

  A servant people responding to the needs of the community; and

  A living vessel conveying the comfort of Christ.
