Children's Sunday School
Our Sunday School program for children ages 4-12 includes stories, crafts and
music. After "A Time for Children" during the worship service, children are
led to their own classroom downstairs to participate in planned activities.
Children's Sunday School is not held in July and August.
Emmanuel complies with the Safe Church Policy.

Youth Group
A way for the younger generation to become more engaged in their faith and the community, Youth re-grouped in 2022. Participants held a picnic and planned the theme for a booth at the Codorus State Park's Trail of Treats, helped with set-up and volunteered at the event. More activities are planned.
β
Adult Bible Study
βLed by the pastor, an adult class is held October through May on Tuesdays
at 7 pm in the Pastor's Parlor and by Zoom. All are welcome! β

The Learning Hour - Adult Sunday School
This group meets Sunday mornings before worship, from September through May in Bowers Chapel and by Zoom for lively book discussions. Jesus himself once asked the disciples, "Who do people say that I am?" How would your personal, religious and social understanding of Jesus prompt you to respond to this question? Do you have one or more perspectives about Jesus' life and ministry? Whatever your responses, let the Learning Hour give you an opportunity to know Jesus better.
Learning Hour discussions for the 2025-2026 season included these titles:
• “Discerning the Voice of God: How to Recognize When God is Speaking” by Priscilla Shirer
• “A New Heaven: Death, Human Destiny, and the Kingdom of God,” by Harvey Cox
• “The Sabbath Way: Making Room in Your Life for Rest, Connection, and Delight” by Travis West
• “The Language of Rivers and Stars: How Nature Speaks of the Glories of God” by Seth Lewis
