Children's Sunday School
Our Sunday School program for children ages 4-12 includes stories, crafts and music. After "A Time for Children" during the worship service, children are led to their own classroom downstairs to participate in planned activities. Children's Sunday School is not held from June through Labor Day weekend.
Emmanuel complies with the Safe Church Policy.
Youth Group
A way for the younger generation to become more engaged in their faith and the community, the Youth Group reformed last year. Participants held a picnic and planned the theme for a booth at the Codorus State Park's Trail of Treats, helped with set-up and volunteered at the event. More activities are planned.
Adult Bible Study
Led by the pastor, an adult class is held October through May on Tuesdays
at 1:30 pm in the Pastor's Parlor and at 7 pm on Zoom. This winter the topic is the
first five chapters of the Gospel of Matthew. All are welcome! Email the church
office to join the evening sessions.
The Learning Hour - Adult Sunday School
September through May, held Sundays before worship in Bowers Chapel and by Zoom
Jesus himself once asked the disciples, "Who do people say that I am?" How would your personal, religious and social understanding of Jesus prompt you to respond to this question? Do you have one or more perspectives about Jesus' life and ministry? Whatever your responses, let the Learning Hour give you an opportunity to know Jesus better. The current book is "Monday Morning Atheist" by Doug Spada.
