Recent Events
New Members Received
On February 1, we joyfully welcomed 11 new members into the life of Emmanuel. We celebrate their presence among us! As an Open and Affirming church, Emmanuel welcomes all to share in the life, leadership, ministry, fellowship, worship, rites and sacraments, responsibilities, blessings, and joys of our congregation.

December at Emmanuel
Christmastime at Emmanuel was filled with joy and community spirit! From our volunteers ringing the bell for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle collection to our Hope tree shining brightly outside the church, the season has been alive with generosity and light. And of course, the Christmas Tea brought plenty of smiles, especially from these two spirited members in their festive hats. What a joyful way to celebrate the season together!
Stewardship Luncheon
About 60 congregants stayed for Fellowship Hour on November 16, 2025, when we celebrated support of our stewardship campaign with a luncheon catered by Divino's Pizzeria & Grille.
Gift Card Bingo
About 80 players joined us for Gift Card Bingo on November 14, 2025, -- a terrific turnout for a fun and lively evening!
Thank you to our generous gift card sponsors, bakers, food donors, and all the volunteers who made the event such a success. We are especially grateful for the support of our local business partners: Giant Food Stores, Hanover Bowling Center Inc., Hickory Falls Family Entertainment Center, Inn 94 Restaurant,
Lu Hibachi Buffet & Grill, Pressell’s Florist,
Sal’s Pizza & Subs, and Texas Roadhouse.
Thanks to this wonderful community support, the event raised approximately $1,500 to benefit Emmanuel’s Building Fund and the Hanover Area Council of Churches.
