Summer Camp Opportunities
The Penn Central Conference has partnered with the Lutheran Camping Corporation for outdoor ministries. There are two properties for church camping: the 336-acre Nawakwa, near Ardentsville, a 25-mile drive from Hanover; and Kirchenwald, on 340 wooded acres adjacent to the State Game Lands near Colebrook, Lebanon County.
Children and youth camps include adventure, arts and crafts, equestrian, fishing, STEAM, water-themed, kayaking, backpacking, science, nature, stars and space, survivalist, sports, “classic” camp, mini-weeks, day camp and more. But there are camps for all ages: adults, ages 55+ and family camp.
Click HERE for a summer camp brochure or visit lutherancamping.org for complete details.
►For 2021, the PCC is offering to pay half the registration cost for UCC campers. This would be a great year to try summer church camp! On the payment screen select "custom" amount and enter half the cost of the camp. For discount assistance or details, contact the church office at 717-632-8281 or office@eucchanover.org.
