Pet Blessings: We welcomed members' beloved pets to worship on October, 2026, for blessings in honor of St. Francis of Assissi, the patron saint of pets. Above, Rev. Ken blesses Stephanie's pup at left, and Stella, at right, with Charlotte and Alec.
Walk-A-Mile in Her Shoes
A team from Emmanuel turned out for the YWCA Hanover’s Walk a Mile in Her Shoes fundraiser on August 7, supporting domestic violence awareness and the YW’s Safe Home program. Starting at Moul Field, the men laced up -- many into high heels -- and walked a mile to shine a spotlight on sexual violence against women.
SpringFest Community Caring Festival: This free event on April 25 connected neighbors with local organizations offering support for child care, housing, advocacy, and wellness. Visitors also enjoyed a plant sale, snacks, children’s activities, pet blessings, mindfulness sessions, and sanctuary tours.
